Re: Which cards are y’all holiday shopping with?

I still have some upgrade minimum spend to meet with my BCP. I'll be downgrading an Amex Platinum to a Gold and then use that for groceries.

Probably the 5.25% WWFCR after that. But not a lot of shopping spend in general. Holiday spend will be mostly travel.

Personal spend: Amex Gold, Amex Schwab Plat., BofA PR+CCR(x2), Costco
Business use: Amex Bus. Plat., BBP, Lowes Amex AU, CFU AU
Perks: Delta Plat., United Explorer, IHG49, Hyatt, "Old SPG"
Mostly SD: Freedom Flex, Freedom, Arrival
Upgrade/Downgrade games: ED, BCE
SUB chasing: AA Platinum Select

Re: Which cards are y’all holiday shopping with?

For Amazon shopping, I will be using the Amex Business Prime card.  For other stores, I will be using Amex Old Blue Cash.  The OBC card's anniversary date recently reset, so I need to meet the minimum annual spend of $6500 to trigger the 5% cashback rewards on grocery, gas, and drugstores.

Re: Which cards are y’all holiday shopping with?

Using my Amex Blue Business Plus and EveryDay Preferred as much as possible. Both cards have the +4 MR/$ from referrals.

Using the BBP for 6x for all purchases where I don’t need return protection. Using my EDP for 5.5x for any purchases where I may need return protection since the BBP doesn’t have such benefit.
