Which cards can I get with my credit scores instantly?

Hello,

I just pulled my fico scores last week and my scores are Experian, 674, Equifax 673, TranUnion, 690. I applied with Chase last week and I am awaiting for a response in the mail.

I just recently purchase a home in December of 2007 and purchased a car in February. Hopefully these two recent inquiries don't hurt me. I have a high income but NO major credit cards, I have a Macys credit card with a limit of $1000 with a $300 balance, and a CareCredit card with a limit of $5000 with $0 balance.

What are my changes of getting a decent bank card with a high credit limit, of about $5000 or over with my current scores? Also which cards would you recommend me applying for that I could easily get an approval with a high CL?

I would say BoA or Chase.

BoA does have a soft pull for preapprovals if you want to check to see if they may offer you anything before doing a hard pull.

Hi NaBuch. I would also like to add Citi to Stef's list.

You have very nice scores. You should do well.

Re: Which cards can I get with my credit scores instantly?

Thanks everyone for your valuable feedback, ok, I just applied for Bank of America and Citi today. I forgot some important information that I left out. I had two MBNA cards that were opened in 2002, I paid on time and was never late, until -- 2004 during my divorce and all hell broke loose and I missed a couple of payments with MBNA. Bank of America bought out MBNA about 2 years ago and my account was transferred over to BOA. I paid off both of my BOA cards, one was $2,500 and the other had a CL of $10,000 and I paid the entire $10,000 balance off.  I have paid ON TIME and paid both cards off in 2007, I had one late by computer error in December 2006.

I have not had ANY late payments on credit cards nor car loans at all in 2007, I have an income over $100,000 per year, and just purchased a $300,000 home and car for $36,000. Do you think I still have a chance at these cards, by the way I just reapplied with Bank of America and Citi TODAY...I had a loan with Ciitibank in 2004, and WAS late with them a couple of times in 2004 but has been paying on time every since and I owe them about $2,000 which I will pay off this year.

Thanks again guys for your advice.
