I need to know which companies might do mid-cycle CRA updates as a result of 1) $0 balance 2) changing billing address, or 3) any other reason.
In this particular case I don't necessarily want any of them to do a mid-cycle update, but if one of the companies does it when I'm not expecting it, I'm going to be screwed. I think Chase does, so I'm going to micromanage those. All cards are in my sig. Thanks!
I know Chase does for sure when you pay to zero. My Synch accounts sometimes report mid when a purchase is made after it was at zero.
Sync hasn't updated mid-cycle for me in a few months, Chase does.
You can request a Discover CSR to submit a midcycle report anytime you want.
Oh? You can request that with Discover?
BoA, Chase, Sync are the only ones that come to mind for auto mid-cycle updates.

Yup, I did it when I got my last CLI and wanted it to report ASAP. It helped xmas utilization a lot.

Under which conditions does BofA do an automatic mid-cycle update?

I have never tried it, but it has been reported if you change your address, they will do a mid-cycle report. For example, change 123 Maple Road to 123 Maple RD.
