Venture Visa Signature is my highest with its SL of $15000

NFCU cashRewards Visa Signature is my second highest now after going from a SL of $1000 to $12500 after my first CLI

Quicksilver WEMC is my third with its SL of $10000

Amex have been nicest to me so far.

BCE $4,000 SL then CLI to $12,000 at 61 days
EDP $20,000 SL
Hilton $15,000 SL

After that would be Chase. They gave me two $19,800 cards (Freedom and FU) approved on the same day.

APRs on both though are disastrous and why those ones are PIF ALWAYS!

However if i do a combo with BofA it would be tops instead.

My wife has opened 3 cards this year 25k , 27k and 25k starting limits.  I have opened around 20 cards and my highest starting limit is 11.5k .  Probably more the profile than the card.

For us, it has been the travel cards, CSP/CSR and Venture that have had both the highest SLs and now CLs.

Discover - $50,000

Penfed Amex - $23,000

Penfed VISA - $23,000

few other Visa cards around $20,000

My highest limit card is Bank of America 25k.

I would say go to NFCU if you want >20k starting with few cards even close to that.  Or just a CU in general.  Or if u can wait a few months try Citi or Boa w/ their EO/ or sr analyst route.

Heh my largest CL is Discover at 18300, second is Chase Freedom at 5200, CU at 5K and  4500 for Amazon ... and thats it...

But it took some time and some pushing to get that Disco up there....

Interesting.. the credit fairy appeared today.... and an autocli appeared at my.....CU.... (didnt see that coming)

Its actually now Discover 18300, CU card at 6500, then Chase Freedom, at 5200, then Chase Amazon at 4500

Hmmm... Closing Amazon and taking the limit off for Freedom is looking like a thought...

Great job w discover, it also took me about 10 years for bring discover to where I am now....be patient and keep pressing those buttons but use the card pay it off as well. Then in no time I’m sure you will be up there more!!!
