Who Has This Card Currently? (Credit One No AF 2% Cashback)

I logged into my Experian account today and saw this in my offers. A preapproval for the no AF version of this card and I read through the disclosures and it seems legit, as much as I don't like Credit One's other products and ignore all other preapproval stuff I get from them cause of their high AFs and shady practices with interest. On this one, however, the disclosure says they don't charge any interest as long as you PIF like any other card. Do you think it might be worth checking out in some way? What are the usual starting limits on it? It's tempting, but I just wanna be sure. The rewards apply to gas and grocery purchases, cable TV, satellite TV, and cable.

I already am paying down a balance transfer on my Penfed card and also don't wanna be using it too much atm with all the purchases I have made on it I would PIF and got over $24 in rewards so far, and CapOne hasn't upgraded my current card with them to a Quicksilver. I just didn't see much discussion on this card in general and wanted more info! Thanks everyone.

It's probably not discussed much b/c 2% category/0% off-cat is a very weak rewards structure compared to alternatives.  If it's available to people in the rebuilding credit range with those terms then it could be a good card for that purpose.

You've raised a lot of good points. it sounds good on paper until you compare it to something like this.

3% cashback on dining and restaurants alone for the SavorOne for example and 4% cashback for those same categories on the AF version too. For that reason alone, I think I'll hold off then. Also, I checked Penfed and how much I've spent and I'm not that far away from meeting the threshold for the $100 bonus either. Just a few more bill charges on there and I'm set!

Its not meant to compete with a Savor card. Having a PF PCR would make getting it mute as well as not only is it a 2% cb card, if qualify,  your rewards post super fast and imo a much better lender, loathe though i may to have to say it about PF.

For a rebuilder or new to credit this may be a better option than the high af cards offered by C1 but unless one teally needs it someth8ng most wont  clamour after, imo

Yup exactly. Also, that offer I had for this one disappeared. I think it's for the best anyway. Also finding out that it's only 2% on those specific categories when i could already get 2% on everything I'm purchasing and that flat 1.5% cashback on the NFCU card I have on everything too  made the card a non starter for me. Oh well.
