Congrats on your recon with Chase. I have an upaid charge off with them (was wamu before), so I don't think I could get back with them until my baddies fall if I'm lucky.
@dodgerslv wrote:I have gotten all of my credit cards with 2 charge offs from late 2006/2007 and a paid collection from 2011. Still have one charge off that will fall off by september this year and all that will be left is my paid utility collection. My first prime approval was in 2012 (discover).
Thank you for sharing!

My lowest APR credit card is at 6.99%.
My new auto loan is at 0% for 60 months.
In my experience, everyone can be charge-off friendly.
How did you clean your TU? Congrats on the new auto loan
The paid collection fell off due to age and I was able to get a charge-off removed a bit early. But, my point is that I have obtained all of my tradelines since before these were removed. If you can build and maintain positive tradelines and show good credit management skills, old baddies are usually overlooked by creditors, especially if the balances have been paid.
My experience as well!
This is good info to know.
YMMV along with your complete credit profile. I've gotten instantly approved by Amex, Discover, Capital One and a host of others with a paid Chase CO. The account was paid in 2011. The account started as Providian to Washington Mutual to Chase and it's still on my report. Applied for Chase Freedom a couple weeks ago got the "we are reviewing your account" message called the recon number and was approved $4,000.
It really all depends on your credit profile.

Nice profile uppingmyscore. Is your current AMEX limit a 3x cli? If so, I am assuming you got it with the CO showing on your report?
Thank you :-)
Yes, it's with the 3x CLI...got it in December on the first try.

Thanks that gives me hope! You mentioned your account was paid in 2011, was it charged off that same year too or earlier?
