Dumb question but this is in addition to the 3% BCE offers for supermarkets so a total of 5%?Yes, in addition to (or it would be a very bad offer!)
I would contemplate taking advantage of it even with BCE 5% is still not bad. I wish it worked with EDP could get an few extra MR points next time i goto whole foods for an gelato!!
Pretty happy about this, I blow through my 5% on SM every month at Whole Foods so now I'll just switch over all of that spending to my BCE and use the SM more at Target.
Thanks lurker!
I just enrolled with my BCE this morning.
Ron.

Unfortunately, Even if i had one of these 3 cards... 2% extra cashback wouldn't sway me away from Central Market vs Whole Foods.
Whole Foods in general is about 10-30% more expensive on most goods than Central Market is.

True. And I found out, it's more expensive on certain items compared to even Randall's (safeway): I'm talking about branded stuff like gelato etc; like $4.99 for a pack of 3 Talenti sticks vs $2.99 at Randall's
Still, having that discount is good; you can always find something of interest at Whole Foods. Plus, remember that Central Market / HEB is a Texas thing

Yeah, yeah, I know.
We're spoiled by the H-E-B Empire.

We don't have Central Market here. There's Sprouts and Trader Joes. Ralph's Fresh Fair is just regular Ralph's in a nice neighborhood. I don't do much grocery shopping...usually just Ralph's since it's nearby.

We have Sprouts, and more recently, Trader Joe's as well.
