Why haven't they reported "no balance" lately?

Hello,
I'm just wondering why if I paid off all the balances on my revolving credit cards (not much in total was about $1000.00) BUT, the last time any of them "reported" to Fico was in July '07. I'm waiting to use them because we are buying a house and worked really hard to pay down all the balances but, every time I check 'myfico', it still shows high balances and no new news. Any ideas? I thought they reported more often then that.

Thanks,
Lady in waiting...

Some creditors report monthly.  I have one tht alternates the bureaus its reports to so it reports to one bureau every three months.  Some creditors do not report for up to 3 mos on 0 balance acounts.  Cap one to name a few.,
