What's so special about it ?! The rewards seem pretty lame compared to QS !
That's like asking why people drive different kinds of cars.

How? Do you not travel?
I do but its just a $400 statement credit ! I know this is not FT but we all know there are better deals for just a single hp .... Like amex plat , I'm willing to pi$$ away 450$ to get the 200$ incidental reimbursement , and those centurion lounges look awesome !!!!
High limits especially for CapOne and a decent sign up bonus.
People are getting them for the generous credit lines. If you don't need the utility padding, they are not that useful.
Consistent rewards are ok. 2 pts = 2 cents for travel. Beaten out by a card like the Double Cash or Fidelity Amex that has no AF. Since they are fixed value points, no argument can be made for the points being valued above 1 cent per point.
Sign-up bonus is ok. Would be relatively good if it was for 1 hp. For most sign-up bonus card churners like me the spend requirement does not matter but the HPs do. Three HPs (2 with 1 bureau frozen) makes the bonus much less attractive. Still a decent bonus compared to most cash back cards, but no one gets cash back cards for bonuses.

All the fingers are not equal.. Are they? We have different needs and what we find useful. Getting $400 for a month spend sounds sweet to me. And the huge line is just the cherry on top.
40k bonus miles ($400) doesn't sound lame to me.
