Does this card have any value?
Excellent card. I put my BCE to good use each month.
It has value if you want to start earning MR points but aren't ready for one of the high annual fee charge cards. It is also a way to keep your MRs if you have a charge card and close it. For people who don't have a folio of cards to maximize every single dollar and would prefer just a limited number, it is also potentially lucrative since you get a points bonus for meeting the 20 purchases/month for the ED and 30 for the EDP. It really could use some of the kinds of updates the Blue Cash Everyday/Preferred have gotten. It's been a while. Green/EDP is not a bad combination at all for people who consider travel more than planes and hotels.

The OP seems to be talking about the Everyday not the Blue Cash Everyday.

Excellent card, especially valuable for the 3% across the board on online purchases.
Oops, I thought you were talking about the Blue Cash Everyday Card.
The Everyday card has value only if you treasure Amex MR points.
The ED was my first Amex back in the days my rebuild started @AyaMai . It was my go to daily driver for years. Started at a $1000 limit in 2015/2016? It's at $27k now and has since been upgraded to the Preferred. I even love the clear appearance. Got me started into MR's and even has bonuses when you hit a certain amount of swipes per month. Great card to start with in the Amex world

This serves only as a starter card. Minimal earning and benefits. Almost any MR card is better than this one.
Don't feel bad since I didn't know the Amex EveryDay card existed until now. Very confusing to name two different cards the same "EveryDay". The marketing genius couldn't come up with a new name? Just sayin'.

Oh, it's much worse than that! The Blue Cash cards (apart from OBC) has Blue Cash Everyday and Blue Cash Preferred, so Everyday and Preferred are "opposites", indicating which Blue Cash card it is. In contrast, there is the Everyday Preferred, which even (to me anyway) sounds wrong!
