It's as rare as a unicorn sighting since it's not a public offer at the moment.

I had a CO in 2012 that went to court, default judgment entered. Paid it in full shortly thereafter. They just recently (2 months ago) gave me a second chance. Doing my 61 day CLI in 7 days. I think you have nothing to lose by trying.

Since losing Costco it appears Amex had relaxed some decades old restrictions in order to win usage back.

I wonder how painful the loss of Costco was to their income...

Well I just app’d for the Platinum Amex and I got instant approval😎! Will be receiving my new card within 3-5 days. Now I’m just waiting to see which CB they pulled for the hard inquiry. Thanks Everyone!

The balances involved (and any repayment) matter (as they did before). Losing $1k on OP is more easily forgiven than a $10k/$100k/$1m default.

Congrats! I'll end up picking up that card once I think I'll get my money's worth out of the AF. Right now, I wouldn't.

I started teasing AE be getting a paid loadable card and regsitering it but never using it.

I thought I would use it for out of town but decided against it.  It increased their pre-approval junk mail.

Back in my DMP days they cancled me card evn though it was PIF and not in DMP.  I would never go back to them.
