I haven't used my cap one since 2013 and it's still open. Come to think of it, I should probably close.

I haven't closed becasue it's my oldest card. Will they close for it being inactive and if so how long? Should I just set up some small reoccuring bill and pay it off every month? Any thoughts are appreciated. :-)
Cap One tends to be very slow to close for inactivity. I haven't used my Sony Card for a year and a half. That said, if you no longer need the secured card, consider closing it. There is no impact on your AAoA until the account falls off your CRs. Typically, accounts in good standing remain on your CRs for ~10 years after closing (closed Cap One accounts sometimes fall off ~10 years after DOLA, however).
I would think a secured card would be exempt from being closed for inactivity, no? I have the Capital One Secured as well...haven't used it since August. Going to close it soon unless they graduate me.
