If scores were the only deciding factor, then yes. Unfortunately this is not the case.

How long have you had them?
AMEX likes to see at least 1 years history with multiple credit cards.
Some of the usual info needed to get a good picture is average age of accounts, # of inqs, utilization and it also helps if you have previous good payment history with them.
I applied. They are asking that I call to speak with a representative. Apparently, they need a business phone number and home address verification. Is this a good sign?

Yes. Home address can be verified through your bank.

Not necessarily. They approved me for the Green card with only 5.5 months history, and I only had 1 card. My income isn't high, either.
At any rate, OP, it sounds like once they verify your employment and address you'll be good to go!
