Agreed. If you're hurting for credit, I'd recommend credit unions. Navy Federal actually is actually still doing very well and is actually expecting to make a healthy profit (though substantially less than forecasted). If your credit is good and you've got a job, you shouldn't have any trouble getting credit because financial institutions are eager to make profitable loans to people who will pay them back on-time and in-full.
