That limitation is not really talking about the bonus, it is talking about being ble to get the card itself. Does that make sense? Those are the card qualificaitons. If you get the card you should get the bonus.

I got the Venture One after the Venture and expect to get that bonus too since it is a different product. We shall see.
@Anonymous thinks it was a misinformed CSR that @Anonymous 1 got. Just got off chat. Will be paid out.

I did app for both Venture and QS Siggy same day... Wonder if that disqualifies me???
You're fine. Now go spend some money to meet the bonus. I like gifts.

It'll take me 2 months to meet the spend, so I'll keep everyone posted.
Nixon... Let us know if you get the bonus
You're worried Nixon won't speak?

I think it's unlikely that holding *any* CapOne card, however old, would disqualify you from a bonus.
But I can say that I've been denied a bonus by Chase if I had taken advantage of a "similar" rewards bonus "recently" (meaning I think within the previous six months). CapOne might likely have a similar policy. So I wouldn't discount in total the CSR's contention that having *recently* applyied for a QS would disqualify you from the Venture bonus.
I'll be very interested in hearing what happens for you.
Chris.
