Got an email today for my World of Hyatt card; earn tranches of Hyatt bonus points based on number of transactions ( over $1 each ) in February.
10 transactions = 1,000 Bonus Points
15 transactions = 1,500 Bonus Points
25 transactions = 2,500 Bonus Points
50 transactions = 5,000 Bonus Points
This makes sense for a number of transactions, although I may not be able to make 50 transactions in the month. It does become a competitor for wallet space vs the Freedom Unlimited and the CSR
Well I'd go and get 1 cup of coffee/fountain soda from the gas station every day. That's 3000 bonus points right there.

And if you're still in an office that has vending machines then you can easily knock out the rest of the transactions needed to hit the 5k.
You could also reload your Amazon gift card balance 50 times x $1
That may get you some unwanted attention, though.
I got my offer too. I've actually thought of getting rid of the Hyatt card but offers like these make it tempting to keep!
Yes, My Fico has twisted me. First thought was to buy two tanks of gasoline, $1 at a time. Lol ... Or grocery store and separately ring up bread, milk, eggs, etc. I do wonder if Chase or Hyatt would frown on playing it this way, but it seems perfectly legal!

I think you know the answer to that

That's an interesting offer. Its true value depends on the size of the transaction. So its greatest value is on the smaller transactions.
For me the Hyatt points are worth around a penny each, so 100 points is worth a buck.
So, here's how I would make out in typical transactions
-parking meter $1.50 $1 return = 66 2/3%
-lunch $10 $1 return = 10%
-better lunch $20 $1 return = 5%
-dentist bill $750 $1 return = .013%
(That is, if they'd extended the offer to me.... which they haven't)
Thanks...I had overlooked the email.
I may do some aggressive Amazon reloads. They're hiking my AF from $75 to $95, and the value of the card for me is declining (MR+BofA focus). I'm willing to play around with it a bit.
