Would Chase switch my Freedom Visa to MC?

Seeing as how I have quite a few visas, I was going to call Chase to see if they'll switch my Freedom to a MC. Any ideas/experiences with this? Thanks! Always appreciated!

Unless you are looking to use the card at Sams Club, you have no reason to ever need a MC vs your Visa.

I wanted to PC mine from Visa to MC.

I called Chase and they told e they could not do that, but I could apply for the MC if needed.

I too have over kill on Visa and wanted an MC...

You might give them a call and try, maybe they would do it for you.

There is one more reason USAA over draft can use a mastercard as a back up but not a Visa, seems odd to me though

Chase won't PC from a Visa to MC or vice-versa. I have a Visa and an MC with them (the Visa being former WAMU) and I've been told more than once by CSRs that I can't combine or PC them.
