It looks to me that you are ready for an AMEX Green. Scores in the 700s, high income and a lot of good history. I think you have a really good shot at approval. It is December you know. Last chance at that 2012 member date.

The Gold is equivalent to the Green in terms of approval credit criteria, but superior in terms of benefits.

From what I've seen Platinum isn't that far off either on approval rates, you just have to approve them to charge you that Smiley Happy

Not sure if the fees for that would be justified.  When I do travel, I have to use the company CC for everything.  I really don't spend any of my own.
