i am working on my utilization which is the other thing that is killing my score. having added health ins to be taken out of my pay check starting this month, i don't see it my balances going down until maybe may 09.

Re: Your lowest FICO when you started rebuilding?

I started rebuilding in Feb 2008 with in FICO scores in the mid 400's. As of today, my all my 3 FICO scores are in the 730's!

Phew! It was a lot of work.

Re: Your lowest FICO when you started rebuilding?

A year ago all of my scores were around the 550 range after reading and following sound advice from the forums, my lowest score is now EQ at 701. I was just approved for a USSA CC at 7.9% with a 15K limit. I want to thank all of the people who shared their experiences and advice to get me where I am today. Next step is to buy a home near the beginning of 2010.

Re: Your lowest FICO when you started rebuilding?

my scores were so low because of collections and collection agencies checking my credit 69 times a month for 6 months trying to ruin mu score. I have a short credit history but thankfully I only have 2 of those 23 collections on my reports i got all the inquires deleted and all my lates erased except on my macys Smiley Sad

Re: Your lowest FICO when you started rebuilding?

I got a divorce and had to file BK in 2000.  I had NO open credit for almost 8 years, only 3 collections, the BK and a $57K tax lien.  I started rebuilding in Feb '08, but didn't know about FICO at the time.  Low 500's by the time I learned the diff in FICO / FAKO.  Now 690's on all 3... thanks to all the help / tips from this forum.

Re: Your lowest FICO when you started rebuilding?

Started my rebuild in July/August 2008.  My scores were in the low 500's.  Pulled December 2008.  My three scores are 643, 665, and 720.  Oh why can't they all be like Experian!?!?!

Re: Your lowest FICO when you started rebuilding?

Good question.  When I went to GreenPath in June 2005 (three months before filing my BK), they ran a credit report on me but it used a FAKO score (CreditXpert - 610; the score was probably inaccurate, but that report said only 16.6% of credit consumers had a worse score, and that percentile is probably accurate).  I didn't know about FICO vs. FAKO back then, obviously.  I always wondered what the FICO scores were when I filed, but I guess I'll never know.
