Re: Your top credit goal of 2013

I've got a few:

1. Get rid of last remaining 3 negatives - chances of achievement are really high because all are set to fall off between now and Mar 2014 so I'm aiming at success before then.

2. All scores over 720 - chances of achievement by 2013 are dependent upon #1

3. Discover IT - CLI to at least $5K, 50/50 chance of achievement since they are so conservative

4. Barclays Rewards - CLI to at least $5k, chances of achievement are 80% if #1 and #2 above are achieved.

5. Get my 1st single CL over $10K - this will occur with NFCU and chances of achievement are high that this will be achieved within 6 months.

Major CC's - Barclay's ($5.5K) | Barclay's Sallie Mae MC ($5K) | DCU ($7.5K) | Discover IT ($1.4K) | Genisys Visa ($1.4K) | NFCU Visa ($22K) | Navcheck ($15K) | Chase Freedom ($5K) | SDFCU Visa ($8K) | Amex BCP ($9.5K) | Amex Delta ($10K) |Store CC's| -Amazon ($4K) | Catherines ($850) | JCP ($4K) | Macy's ($1.7K) | Avenue ($850) | Victoria's Secret ($1.4K) | Walmart ($4.1K) | Paypal SC ($1.3K) | HSN ($2.5) | Sears ($2.6K) | Sams Club ($4.1K) |Goal|: Age with grace to 750 across the board |Last app|: 3/3/2014

Re: Your top credit goal of 2013

Mainly to continue paying down my balances. Last year I brought my utilization down from over 80% to about 30%.

This year my goal is to get it under 10%, allow a couple inquiries to fall off and to grow my new accounts. (Get my walmart card limit increased!)

Re: Your top credit goal of 2013

Finish downgrading most of the annual fee cards I had gotten for various sign up bonuses the prior year, and see if Amex would be willing to raise the CL on my personal SPG to about $35K.

PS - Wouldn't mind increasing the line on our business blue either.

Garden!!! I have the app bug.  I think it some sort of immediate gratification, validation acceptance thing.  SO I am going to work on improving my CRs. Try to grow some of my limits to the 5K club.
