on amex website they have a credit secure monitoring service that charges your card 1 dollar for the first 30 days then 15.00 a month there after. it says unlimited credit scores and reports for all 3 bureaus . does anyone have this and how close is it to the real scores?

Fako scores are usually hit or miss....No one can give you an exact range. They're sometimes close though..

I find that CreditSecure's FAKOs are within 20-30pts of my true FICO's, and right now actually are within 5pts.
Honest!

Oh, It's way topsy turvy for the wife's CreditSecure.
Her EX FAKO shows 30pts higher than her EX FICO, her EQ is within 5pts, and her TU FAKO is 50pts higher.

Credit scores on these sites mean nothing.
Use them primarily for monitoring changes. They have secondary benefits also, but the scores are meaningless.
I would rather just use credit sesame for monitoring since its free. I do have another credit monitoring service from target hack, but i find Credit sesame to be fine for monitoring EX
Credit scores are way off but the reports are great. You can pull a report from all three bureaus daily if you want.

Yep. this is what we do.

All my Fako scores are in the same range as my Fico score +/- 10 points with the exeption of Equifax Fako being much lower. Credit Secure comes off Experian and if you are interested I would recommend the 1 x per month Citi for only 4.95$ / month. Amex is not unlimited but I believe 2 x per month for 15$ and if you want unlimited pulls then you will need to pay even more. Do you really need to access more than once a month? I am really happy with the Citi CMS on all 3 and not interested in the scores but rather the monitoring with a report once a month. Best value for my buck here
