amex offers upgrade green to platinum

Hi,

last week I got an offer by email to upgrade my Amex Green to the Platinum (I got the Green in December/2015) 

the offer is 25k points 2k$ /3 months, 

now I would like to use my new CSP to travel/dining , but the 5X offer could be useful, its good as offer ? or I could try to PC to the PRG (without offers at now) ?

It's AMEX holiday season for AF's for upgrades.

I don't recall seeing any PRG offers to upgrade though.  There's been a few offers though in the last couple of months for other upgrades though or offers to apply for Platnum.  If you wait it might come or hop on chat with them and ask if you have any other offers for your account.  Sometimes they have stuff in the computer that don't get advertised out e-mail/mail.

I just got an offer to upgrade from BCE to BCP.  Have only glanced at the email, first stop was here to see if the braintrust thought the upgrade was worth it.  It does entail a $95 AF, but before I got angry with AMEX (they balanced chased me, for no reason I could figure out), I was putting quite a bit through it.

Once I get to $1500 (I think) on Penfed, and get that bonus, I could also use the BCP bonus.  I think it's $150, which would cover a year and a half of the AF.

Decisions, decisions.  Any feedback here?
