better chance at MR card approval?

If you already have a decent amount of points with Marriott? 667 and I have 50K in points. Chase has you put in your rewards numbers, im assuming so it links, but do you have a better chance if you have some points accumulated already? I'm a Silver member as well. Debating on to apply now or wait another cycle or two, but nervous that the 80K offer can go.

Re: better chance at MR card approval?

Your status with marriott plays no role in your marriott credit card approval process. Chase just has you put the number in so it links for points and nights earnings.

I'm a bad influence, so I'll say go for it. Can't hurt, right?
