Re: cash + redemption

Wow I didn’t know anything about that. So that’s a one time thing if you’ve ever redeemed you’re not able to avail yourself of it? Because if I can I’ll try, tell me how. Or is it useless since I’ve already redeemed in the past? You did say one time?

It was a one-time benefit if you redeemed $100 in one go. So a reward for gathering a large volume of transactions. There's no harm in trying to see if you get it, since you still get the $100 and might get the $25 extra.

Unless someone has clear info that it's no longer valid.

Re: cash + redemption

OK cool so just save up $100 before I redeem and redeem $100, maybe I’ll get an extra 25? I’ll try it!

Yes, worth a try if you are reaching $100 fairly quickly.   I found the change to just once was Apr 2015

so plenty of time for them to nerf to 0, but didn't find any article saying that they had.   And I found a blog article from 2020 talking about this feature...   so try and let us know!

Re: cash + redemption

I definitely will! I’ll have to check and see how long it will take me. I normally put internet/ electronics on it. Might get some electronics for Christmas we’ll see. I’ll report back once I figure it out.

Re: cash + redemption

Hummmm, if that works it can effectively make your 5% CB category (if that's how you roll with the card) a 6.25% category.
