Hey I know chase auto CLIs are completely random, but I'm curious if anyone has ever requested a CLI without a HP. I was instantly approved for $2800, and due to some major unexpected expenses I have been spending around $3k/statement but PIF, is there a department that would possibly look at account history and approve a CLI or not at all?
Also, I've heard chase will report midcycle, is that if you reach a 0 total balance, or $0 statement balance?
coolbeans, thanks!

All customer-initiated requests for a CLI are HP. Auto-CLIs and targeted pre-approved CLIs are the only ones that would be based off SP.
Chase will report to the CRAs anytime a balance is reduced to $0.
I concur with the above, but I remember when I got my first Chase card (Amazon Prime Visa) the banker told me to PIF for 6mths...I did this (which I was going to do anyway) but right at 6mths I got an auto CLI, 2mths later I got in-branch pre-approvals for almost all cards including the CSR, which I immediately pulled the trigger on.
