got the 7 to 10 day message was told i was denied but then answered some questions and was approved for 500.00!!!!   should i call back and do another recon about getting a better credit line

Nice! Congrats on the Chase Freedom! I had to do a recon for my application and send any verfication documents. Since you already got a hard pull and the credit already, there is no harm in asking for credit limit increase!

You can call and try to recon your CL. However, they might do another HP. If you don't mind another HP, I say go for it. If you do mind, make sure you ask them if its going to be a HP before you proceed.

     That is great. What was your credit picture like? scores? baddies? public records?  Am just curious cause the same thing happened to me but when I called back for recon I was denied.
