citi® platinum select® mastercard approved

Well, my app spree has come to an end.  I just called the new account number and it said that I was approved.  It started last Saturday with Cap1 emailing me that they were sending me a new card for $2K.  Then followed by AMEX Zync, Discover More $5K, and Citi Plat.  While I was waiting for the approval, I did a credit check for the first time here on myFico, and I was very surprised at my scores.  My scores on USAA 3 in 1 credit monitoring are much lower.  I know, USAA scores are fakes, so at the end of the day, I am quite happy and CONTENT with the decision to go on the apps spree.  Now, it is time to garden my cards.

Congrats, I see my scores aren't too far from yours. So that does give me hope. I was denied a Citi Dividends a few months back, which was humbling. Can you share your credit profile with us? Any baddies?

Re: citi® platinum select® mastercard approved

I had a "charge off" that was removed 3 weeks ago.  The only other baddies are 90, 60, 30 days late back in 2008.  As of matter of fact, Discover asked about those and I explained I was doing rapid deployments during this time frame.  She did note that I have been late with a payment since 2008, so I know that's has a lot to do with it.  I called Citi today, and was told my limit will be $2,6K.  Not to bummed out since their 0% xfer was for 21 months.  Well, I just xfer my Dell 25.99% balance to Discover for the 0% for 15 months deal.
