cli's, amex, & bk

in mid february i requested a cli on my amex everday card. my bk had fallen off all reports except equifax.  i got denied due to bk reporting.  as of april 1st the bk has fallen off all reports and i have no baddies at all.  do i still have to wait 90 days before trying again since my reports are now clean?  or is it auto deny because its been less than the 90 day wait i keep reading about?

Yes, you have to wait 90 days from the date of the denial regardless of reason. Don't be surprised if they deny it again, though. Even when a BK ages off Amex still knows about it.
