eligible for first CLI!!!

So I just hit the 9 month mark with my charter one card. Im now able to request a CLI. I havent been worrying about paying off my CCs before the statement date because I havent needed anymore credit. Should I just have this CC paid off before I ask for the increase, or should I pay all before the due date and wait for them to update low util?

Im in no rush for the CLI, I just want to make sure I improve my chances as much as possible to get it before I do.

In my wallet: Discover it 6800 CL, Capital One Quicksilver Sig 5k CL, Chase Freedom 4k CL, GCU Patinum Visa 1500 CL

It doesn't matter if you have a balance going in. If you have good payment history and PIF each month with no problems...you'll be fine.

Ok, good. Yes I have never missed  ANY payments with them or any other CC I have. You have to go back 4 years to find a missed payment on my report.

I dont always pay in full, though I do make multiple payments throughout the month. Its $500 CL and I probably put 1k through it every month. sometimes I carry and then random times throughout the month ill pay it off. Will try for this CLI as soon as my payment posts!

Thanks guys!
