going cold turkey

after eyeing the csp for 2 years i finally got approved and foolishly told myself that i would stop apping as soon as i get it. guess who then applies for a discover it and amex lol.... got prroved for the discover but declined to get it cause i simply dont need it and it would be a waste, i regretted applying as soon as i hit the button. funny how that happends. the amex i applied for this morning and was denied try to call recon but theyre closed. maybe monday. after that i downloaded a countdown app and set it up for october of 2014! 521 days to go...i promise to be app free and let my many many inquiries fall off....here it goes

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

yes i dont have a cc with apr less than 15% so i went in looking for that 11% or better cc but discover approved me with a 22% apr. plus i have a few new cards opened in the last year this card would also bring down my aaoa even more. i have the simplicity card so i guess down the road ill ask for lower apr. discover it just seemed useless lol....

I guess APR is important if you plan to carry a balance.
