The guy I spoke with added 1% rewards, refunded AF, and he only moved my CL from $750 to $900.....maybe I should call back in a month. I'm kinda dissapointed.
Hello. With all due respect I think you may be barking up the wrong tree here. Capital One typically isn't known as a company that gives big CLIs. There are several other credit cards out there that you are eligible for with yours scores which will be much easier to get CLIs with. In fact you are likely to be approved for a way higher CL off the bat. I would try a credit union for one thing. You have decent credit scores. Assuming you have any sort of income at all, you should be able to be approved for credit limits starting at 2 to 5 grand with other companies. Capital One caters to first timers and people rebuilding and with exceptions of course doesn't aggressively increase credit limits.... Good luck.

-How long have you had the Cap1 account open??
-What do your credit files look like??
Thats not too bad from Capital One...they are usually very strict. After all my EO work I only got my $500 cash rewards card bumped to $1,000. Helps the utilization but no where near what I was asking. They also refunded this years annual fee. I will probably try again this time next year as my score gets better and hope for better results. I would look into Discover It (hell, with the pop ups every other click I'm sure you've noticed it lol) as they have been given out pretty good limits and have some pretty good perks.

Congrats on the increase! May be try back in a few months or if something on your CR changes, for the better of course. I was denied in an increase back in Mar. Tried again last week and went from $300 to $750, and 1% cash back rewards. They said they can't do anything with the AF, but I'll try back in Oct before the fee is due. I've had my card for over 10 yrs at $300, but I was also credit impaired.
ETA: +1 on Discover IT
I just got approved through a local credit union for $5k visa. The card hasnt arrived yet and is not reporting to the bureaus yet. I have 2 capital one plaitum accounts. One for $500 the other for $750 that got bumped to $900. I have been using teh $500 one for a few months and paying the bill in full to get the rewards. The one that was increased has not been used in 4 months maybe whoever looked at it didntthink I needed a CLI much.....im going to calll about other account and see if I can get that raised.
Nice on the visa! I'm hoping to pull my scores up to get approved at my CU, they pull EX, and EX and I do not get a long.
Are the 2 cap1s your only cards besides the credit union visa you just got approved for?
No I have the two cap1s, orchard bank(300), bestbuy(600),
