i have 4500 points and i need 500 more to redeemt for a $50 gift card. however, i just saw that i can redeem with points. So if i purchase an amazon card for $45, i can use my 4500 points to redeem against the $45 charge? Is that how the points thing work or do i need to purchase something within the credit card categories in order to redeem my points? Thanks
