Re: next credit card step?

I would approach it from the perspective of your credit reports/FICO score ~ do any of them look a lot better or worse than the others ?

Amex usually pulls EX, Chase pulls EQ i think, barclays pulls TU.....

March2010 FICO® ~ 695 TU, 653 EQ, 697 EX

Re: next credit card step?

Not sure what your CRs look like but I believe chase wants to see 2 yrs worth of creditcard credit before giving you a card.  I think thats the last thing I remember when I spoke to one of their CSRs.  Maybe someone else can chime in

Starting Score: EQ 515 TU 490 EXfaco 510
Current Score: EQ 660 TU 665 EXplus 661

Re: next credit card step?

Chase has only ever pulled EX for me. Same with Bank of America.

Re: next credit card step?

well i have at least 3 years of an open credit card. my EQ score was 680 from this site and EX was 666 from amex. i dont kno about TU and last late was over 4 years ago and i have one baddie from about 2 years ago in dispute and planning on paying it off this year if nothis happens and a couple of student loans. i am looking into getting something in the 1000's for once and not 100's
