Several new accounts since opening NFL Visa with high utilization. I guess Barclays wants to play ball. No AA. I hope I don't jinx it. @ 7 Months now
Just FYI
and the new Barclays website is nice too
what do you mean by "several". Some People around here act like Barclays is some big boogie man that will turn on you if you open an account or 2 within months after getting in with them.
4 news accounts. There are plenty of barlcays aa stories on here.
I opened seven accounts two month ago, almost immediately after my Barclay card approval. My AAOA got dropped from 13 months to about 3 months.
I got my TU report last week and saw Barclay softed me at the end of May and no AA yet. So I guess I dodged the bullet.
i hope your right i'm about to go on an app spree and i have my barclays rewards card turning 6 months soon...just waiting on CLI from them and then go on a spree

In a vast majority of those cases, I'm going to assume that the people are either omitting some info(Sudden increase in utl, derogs popping up, etc), are borderline cases or go for an extreme number of cards (More than 6 - Like 9ish) in very short time. If you have great credit and manage your accounts well, I seriously doubt Barclays is going send out their AA police to come get you.
It's like the Amex FR, because of the nature of forums like these, you'll get a lot of confused/pissed off topics here that make it seem like a larger percentage than actually is. I used to worry about this but then decided if Barclays doesn't want to do business with me, than I'll take my business elsewhere.
