Well, I was approved for Blue Cash Everyday and Chase Sapphire Preferred. I also apped and was approved for the Hilton Honors Surpass Card. I don't know what my limits for the AMEX cards are yet, as the approvals weren't instant. I received the "your application needs further review" message, however right after that I checked the application status site and it said approved on both!! WEEEEEEEE!!! Also, the date for the application was Jan. 1, 2013, so I should get the backdating for both to 2012, when I got the AMEX Green!! I am FIRMLY planted in the garden now!!!

I take it you have already done the math and figured out that your spending does not justify the BCP annual fee? It doesn't take much to make it worth it. An extra 1% on gas and department stores (Macy's, Bloomingdale's, JC Penney, etc), and an extra 3% on groceries. $2,500 on groceries alone covers the fee, so any spending above that will turn to added benefit.

Hmmmm....maybe I will look at BCP.

I never thought about that!! I'm East Coast and AMEX is located in Fort Lauderdale, so I didn't even think about that!!
