My PRG was approved as well, so we both have got 2 new Amexes
Yayyyyy!! You were my inspiration Webhopper!! I threw in a Paypal Mastercard as well, so I'm FIRMLY in the garden now. The CSP was a card that I REALLY wanted, so I'm happy to have gotten it. the BCE, Hilton HHonors Surpass, and Paypal Extras were just icing on the cake!! I don't ever need new cards with the arsenal I have now!

@kevinjjc wrote:+1 Be careful with the time zone differences. The app will most likely be time stamped with AmEx's server time. Not sure where that is.
I never thought about that!! I'm East Coast and AMEX is located in Fort Lauderdale, so I didn't even think about that!!
I think their cards come from Omaha, which is an hour behind east coast time...not sure if that matters or not. I'd wait a few hours until all the time zones in the US are past midnight, just to be safe.
You are probably right. I had my champagne all lined up for when I press that send button 1 minute after midnight! LOL! Guess I'll just be drinking champagne at that time!
Good decision, better safe than sorry. Enjoy the New Year's Eve celebration!!!
To add to this, last I heard from one of my consulting buddies Amex's primary datacenter was out in Phoenix a few years back. I think it's a good bet to wait till the entire US is firmly into the new year before applying.
WEEEEEEE!!! BCE $6500.00 limit. HHonors Surpass $5500.00 limit!!!!!
Congrats! Great CL.
