At least I know they were generous in my 3x on Sunday, so even if they start me out with a similar CL as my delta gold, in 61 days, I'll be ok.

Don't be nervous!  The worst part (app'ing) is done already  What was your initial Delta limit?  I was approved with a low limit ($2k), but even the CSR on the phone said to call back in 60 days for an increase (which I plan to do, as well as 6 months after that).

i just ask. BC i garding until the end of this year and apply for it. i been AU with Amex From 2003. but never had a card

First, congratulations on your approvals - that is awesome!  I love my Amex Costco TE card, it gets a lot of use.

Unfortunately, if you just received a CLI on another Amex card, you will have to wait 6 months from that date to request a CLI on your new TE card.  Yeah, it sucks.

Just logged into my account online, and they've already added it to my profile.

They started me out with a 2k CL.

I'm not sure why, but I'm a bit bummed.  They started my delta out at $2800 and bumped it up to $8400.

So you're saying I can't take advantage of the 3x CLI at 61+ days w/ the TE?

But I can request regular CLI in 6 months on both, right?

Unfortunately, no, you can only request a CLI on ONE amex revolver in 6 months.  If you had not just gotten the 3x CLI on your delta, you could have gotten it in 61 days on the TE.  But according to Amex's policy on credit limit increases, you can only request a CLI on one revolving credit card six months from your last limit increase.

Someone here pointed this out to me last summer when I had just received approval for my BCE and had also requested my first ever CLI on my Optima card.  I, like you, had thought I could get the 61-day CLI on the BCE, but found out otherwise.  And believe me, I even tried it and Amex shot me down with a letter stating their policy on CLIs.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!  But trust me, the 6 months will fly by so fast!
