No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
Unless you're brimming with inquiries, I would go for it.
I wish I got such a message!
same here!
the only thing i've gotten in the past 5 months or so is chase telling me to refer friends to open an account with them.
my score have been improving so i'm thinking about going into a branch tomorrow to see if they can get me through the door with a cc.

I have a checking and savings account with Chase. And two credit cards with them. And my mortgage (paid) was with them, too.
They have also been asking me to "refer friends" to them.

Asking for referrals in the forum? "Anybody looking to apply for a Chase card? Let me refer you.... PM me"?
I was just confirming what was occurring with the poster immediately above me.
I'm not "referring" anybody....

I dont believe that the actual post insinuated or advertised such solicitation.
While any form of solicitation such as referrals, referral codes, etc., are prohibited on the forums (whether in public or via PM), the option to legitimately refer friends or family members can be discussed (e.g. general questions about eligibility, SUBs, etc.) so as long as the TOS or forum guidelines are not in violation.

Agreed. There was no referral. OP was looking to open a Chase card and don mentioned referring "friends". Just mentioned it, with a "lol" that's all.
