scores needed for paypal credit and amazon store cards

i was just curious if anyone knew what score model and what score would be a safe bet to app for these? i have a cap1 secured card but would like to ad these as i use both paypal and amazon a lot. my fico 8 is EQ 625, TU 599, EX 608. I do have a few collections and late payments(late is almost 11 months old) and 2 co credit cards for hsbc abd credit one from 2011. Just dont want to waste the inquiry if i'm not where i need to be.

Re: scores needed for paypal credit and amazon store cards

Google credit pulls database, it's a wide range I've seen some Amazon store cards on there show scores in the high 500s now with the lates and collections it may be shaky...IMO I would hold off a bit on both on those apps.

Fico 8 starting scores 09/27/15 EQ: 646 TU: 622 EX: 668 5 collections 1 PR reporting across the board
Scores 06/30/16 EQ: 685 TU: 699 EX: 695 1 collection now reporting on EQ and EX and 1 PR on EQ
Current scores 11/4/2016 EQ 688 TU: 705 EX: 736 No collections no PR/Judgements Finally Clean

I would try for the Pay Pal credit and hold off on the Amazon store card if you have low INQ

Re: scores needed for paypal credit and amazon store cards

PayPal credit pulls EQ. Amazon pulls TU. So I would hold off on Amazon until you reach the 600s. PayPal credit is through Comenity bank. They have an internal score that they use. But, it's possible that you have a better chance there. My brother got approved with a similar score. So good luck!!

Good luck!  I'm pretty sure my scores were on par with yours when I got in with Paypal.

Re: scores needed for paypal credit and amazon store cards

I was approved for Amazon just this week. They pull TU which is hovering around 650. CL is 1000. I applied in March with same score, same utilization, and fewer inquiries, and declined.

I also applied for the PayPal MC, not PayPal credit, approved 800, also pulled TU.

EQ-605 EX-628 TU-649

I'd be cautious and wait, mainly because when you factor in the notorious "ymmv" thought, it looks like it could be a 50/50 shot on either card, for where you currently stand. But if you're willing to possibly take an HP denial or so, then I guess that would not matter.
