SOOOOOOOOOO, I was just going to post in this thread a defense to Walmart, and how you are the only one they are doing this too.

 

Then I would have had to eat crow....

 

Because I just logged in and saw that my $87 charge on Wednesday is STILL pending...

 

THANKFULLY, my balance is $-7.67 (Negative Balance) and I presume that is what will be reported.

5/2012: 560 credit scores across the board

Last week when I was at the customer service counter handling a return, I asked the gentleman assisting me if they accepted payments for Walmart account at the store. He said they did....I asked when would my payment post...he advised "same day". I don't know if this is true or not, but we will know on Tuesday when I take on that task.

GECRB REALLY REALLY wants to report a balance. It's not just with the Walmart card. I don't know what their problem is, but this is how I fixed it for myself. I use any GECRB card only once during the cycle. I pay only one payment at least a week before it's due. I do not touch it again until it reports. That gives me about a week or so in which to use it safely, but it does work. 


I've noticed that too. Other companies as well. Putting the credit card protection on the very last day is an example from Citi

 

not sure why companies are so pressed for a balance to report

My 89 that I put through on Thursday I'm still waiting on for my SAMs card lolol when I pay bills, I like the money to exit my account ASAP so I know what to have to spend

i make the payment on the 21 of Nov. They still hold the fund even thou they already take out the money from my bank. SMH
