tja..wonder if that is the reaction to Freedom/Discover  5% to make sure their card is used instead....as I am a UR junkie I will use Freedom for groceries next quarter

No, but the bonus are capped per quarter

Sallie Mae must be one of the best cards out there now
I asked Barclay if I can do product change to Sallie they said no
So tempted to open one but my personal rule is only 1card / bank

$25 per quarter in extra 2% rewards, so you get the 2% on up to $1,250 spend per quarter

Considering the spend bonus is only valid for up to $750 per quarter for gas and groceries anyway, I fail to see the the problem.
