walmart credit card..what to do?

i applied for a walmart card 2/16 online. I never got a letter or a card so I assumed I was denied...I got my tu cr the other day and it shows an inquiry from walmart..do they not have to send a letter if they deny you for credit??? 

any ideas why I can't get approved.. i've seen others w/lower scores than mine get approved..anything i can do about the card or inquiry...?

Did u call to check the status? I got a stinking Walmart card with $150 cl. It reported to cra before i ever recieved it.

no bc now it's been over a month and i just assumed there was a glitch on the website and it never went through..

I would check the status. I don't know what your scores look like, but my EQ was 632,and I got one. Even with 2 CO. good luck

so you all would call even though it was in feb??  i was just concerned bc i didnt get a denial letter, but i show a hit on my credit report..and i've seen others in my same boat, (bk dishcharged and scores same )but still getting approved..i dont owe much on cards on at all, pay off in full and others carry balances less than 10% of cl

I'd call just to make sure someone didn't intercept a credit card if they did send you one.

what would be the number to call??  does anything think it's possible to get a recon w/o another hit???  what should i say specifically to plead my case?

They pull TU and with a 670 you shouldn't have any problems getting the Discover branded version.

If you really want it, you could always ask them to pull your CR again...

fretless i have a bk, but i know many have gotten the card w/ a bk, the store brand card that is..

and aren't they required by law to send a denial letter?
