wamu visa went from 14.99 apr to 25.99 i called them they gave me no real answer. never miss a payment never late

Many CCCs are finding any excuse they can to jack your rate in this environment.  Have you been carrying a balance for a while?

Hi Trailer, welcome!

WAMU is known to ratejack if you carry a balance with them for an extended period of time, or for any other lender for an extended period of time. However, I think I heard a rumor that they quit doing UD.

ty all. i have high util on card 69% on $1500 cl the rep told me the april statement have all the info on it about apr increase she also stated if i  would closed the account by april 30 i could stay at 14.99
