what should I do with first premier?

Well I've had this secured card for about 3 months now after that I got 2 better ones (see sig) anyways would it be wise to keep them for a full year so I have that tradeline or should I fire them now? I took their offer before I joined this forum so obviously I knew nothing about them and their fees!

Re: what should I do with first premier?

I'd keep it. Three months is too short of a credit history to start closing accounts.

Keep them for the first year. They're no different than any other rebuilder card for the first year. What I would recommend is shrted the card and use it for reacurring charges. Also pay using your bank account online to avoid the 11.00 fee for phone payment. You've already paid the high AF, get the 12 months gppd history then close. That is what i'm doing. Just remember PIF every month don't let them get a penny of interest.

Re: what should I do with first premier?

I listed them on my online bill pay but haven't paid using that cause I was worried they would charge me a fee for that! I've been paying using their automated phone message which takes forever and is really annoying.
