$11 B in Chargebacks 2023 but some is Friendly fraud

This NBC news article doesn't get too in depth.

I am concerned with the abuse of the process especially with TikTok type influencers-  touting a New, SECRET Hack!

‘Friendly fraud’ has more consumers disputing charges (nbcnews.com)

When I've had to do this for a legitimate issue...I will say that both Chase and AMEX were super easy to handle it with and my account was credited in hours.  About a month later I received word dispute was resolved in my favor.  Cut out all the drama of poor customer service with retailers unwilling to cooperate.

Can't imagine faking this is easy if you've made a legitimate purchase. Don't banks try  and find out if your a lying *blank*
