More and more news stories are reporting 760 as the new 720 for 2008.

Yeah, figured that one was coming. And then if and when FICO-you-know-when kicks in, they'll have to re-set that again, because you can't tell me that there won't be a shift in the overall bell curve.

I'm far closer to 580 than 760.

well it's almost impossible to get 760 from EQ.  how do you do it?

In the end, it will shift back, at least partway. This is a classic market overcorrection. If banks don't loan money, banks don't make money.
