A service announced by Experian: Experian Trim

Hi All,

Not sure if this has been posted.

This is interesting.  Received email from Experian announcing a service that could save you time and money by negotiating down costly recurring expenses for you.

I received the same email too.

Sounds good, but the annual subscription price of $99 - I wonder how easy or difficult it would be to have creditors change the APR ?

Then again, it wants you to securely connect Trim with each of your bank / credit account - sounds a bit scary ???

I think OP meant Experian's bill negotiator. That Trim site seems to be a link to actually have them cancel Experian for you.

https://www.experian.com/consumer-products/bill-negotiator.html

The bill negotiator looks interesting because there's no fee if they don't save you any money but they do take 40% of the savings if they do save you money which just begs the question -- would you not be able to do the same thing yourself?
