My DW opened a Saks Fifth card because they told her she could get $100 or something dumb along those lines.... needless to say the APR is high and it hasn't been used in over a year..

I agree with freezing for this And many other reasons.

We lock our grunt doors

We lock our cars

Why would we not lock our credit reports?

Regardless of this freezing CR's is a good idea. It's cheap as hell.
