The ads are always appealing for such smart devices. Being that this device is only in pre-order phase, as a consumer, I would not be too quick to pre-order. This is why:

I will admit I find this interesting but why can't I just use my phone?  My phone can do almost all of this now since it has NFC which I assume is all this uses.

I already carry my phone with me just about everywhere I go.  To me it would be cheaper to just create an app that does all of this and not have to pay to have something created for people to wear.

Well I would find a ring way more convenient than throwing my phone at things.

And I've never worn a ring, like ever.  Interesting gadget, I may give it a try just for novelty's sake.
