I wonder how much it has to do with the timing of record recession derogs falling off across the board to make this a record. I mean surely the avg. was way lower post recession for like 6-7 yrs. But if they could compare pre-recession avg to post to today. Or is that somewhere and I missed it?
I'm curious as to how consumer scores can be on the rise in the same year there are recorde auto defaults and rising CC debt?
Those two things seem contrary.

That is definitely a good point and I was wondering too. Ran across another article discussing this which also says that even though more people are paying on time, their debt is staying the same. Personally I learned my lesson and can't stand to see any CC balances carry over, even in the situations where I'm carrying it to take advantage of some 0% interest deal.

I read that, thanks. Soooooo Fico 10 gonna roll out before Fico 9 becomes the main squeeze? (jk )
